Long time, no see

I'm sorry for being away for so long.
The thing is... I'm doing my internship at te moment and it is fun and I'm learning a lot. But I'm so busy, I had no time for my blog.

I had no time for everything, except... I'm getting MARRIED.
In April 2011!
Ow boy, I bought a dress, it is hanging on my closet right now under a sheet.
We decided to marry next spring for the law (in Holland you have to get married for the law, after that you may marry for church) and a year later we'll do a spiritual ceremony with an outrageous party after that.

Our "first" wedding day will be small and short (and cheap and in color), our "second" wedding day will be more traditional (I'll go in white then).
I look forward to it.

We bought our clothes and our paperwork already.
On the christmascards to our friends and family we've put a save the date message (we "designed" our paperwork at vistaprint.com)

How is my Day Zero Project?

I've tasted 7 out of my 10 flavours of Ben & Jerry's (that was my goal, to have 10 flavours tasted).
These flavours were the ones I had:
Cookie Dough
Chocolate Fudge Brownie Low Fat
Phish Food
Caramel Chew Chew
Strawberry Cheesecake
Vanilla
Chocolate Macadamia

For one month it is not allowed to buy clothing (the money I save with that go to the piggy bank) I've finished this goal. I haven't been shopping since 16th of juli untill the 16th of august, the money I had saved with that went to my piggy bank. I didn't save much because I was on vacation which costed a lot of money too.

I've build a (dutch)website with (short) inspirational pieces.

I bought something like a wreck this journal, but I'm not done with it yet.

I've set up a party for my parents' 25th marriage anniversary. We went to a zoo and had dinner afterwards. It was so much fun and the weather was good.

I'm on my ideal weight now, my legs are much firmer and less fatty. I did it by eating vegetarian and less snacking.

The latest book I've read was a book from Jonathan Safran Foer "Eating Animals".

So my blogspot is up to date now.

My dutch blog

I made a dutch blog, also for a different type of subjects, but also for the reason that my dutch language skills are way better than my english skills. It's a weblog to express myself. But you can take a look if you like, i've finished the design.
It is also a goal for my day zero project.

We're engaged

Yes, I'm engaged. My husband to be asked: will you marry me? It happened in our vacation. We were in a beautyful setting with mountains and we had a long walk. Suddenly he went on his knees and asked me. I answered: Yes offcourse.

He gave me an engagementring, he wears the same one also. We will buy weddingrings of better quality in the future, but this will work for now. The ring is half silver half gold. I love it.
